Driving
The Samuel Lindow Building is located on the Westlakes Science & Technology Park.
By Road from the South
If you are journeying from the south to the Samuel Lindow Building, you should leave the M6 motorway at junction 40 and take the A66 west past Keswick and Cockermouth. Then take the A595 south until you are approximately two and a half miles south of Whitehaven, where the entrance to the Westlakes Science and Technology Park is clearly sign posted on the left of the road.
Once on the science park, the building is signposted. Take the first exit off the roundabout, signposted Crow Park Way, and then the first right, and at the top of the short hill take a left. The Samuel Lindow Building is ahead on the left. Parking is abundant and free.
By Road from the North
If you are travelling to the Samuel Lindow Building from the north, we suggest that you leave the M6 motorway at junction 43 and journey on the A595 from Carlisle. Progress south, by-pass Cockermouth, Workington and Whitehaven until you reach the Westlakes Science & Technology Park which is clearly sign posted on the left of the road, approximately two and half miles south of Whitehaven.
Once on the science park, the building is signposted. Take the first exit off the roundabout, signposted Crow Park Way, and then the first right, and at the top of the short hill take a left. The Samuel Lindow Building is ahead on the left. Parking is abundant and free.
Public Transport
By Rail
If travelling by rail to the Samuel Lindow Building, on the Westlakes Science & Technology Park, we recommend travelling to the Whitehaven Railway Station (WTH).
From Whitehaven, we are a 10 minute taxi or bus journey away. See below for more information on travelling by bus.

By Bus
There are bus stops for both directions (North and South) directly outside the main entrance to the Westlakes Science & Technology Park. The bus route number for the park, from both North and South, is Bus Route 30.
This route travels from:
Workington -> Lakes College -> Distington -> Whitehaven -> West Cumberland Hospital -> Westlakes Science & Technology Park -> Bigrigg -> Egremont -> Thornhill
and the same in the reverse direction.
