Safety assessment challenges for older nuclear facilities

This lecture, held in collaboration with the Nuclear Institute and the Safety and Reliability Society, will have Alec Bounds of Arcadis Vectra will talk on the safety assessment challenges for older nuclear facilities.
This lecture will cover:
- Examining key nuclear safety assessment methods
- Managing periodic safety reviews (PSRs) of older facilities
- Evaluating safety assessments for decommissioning
- Reviewing construction activities near existing nuclear facilities
Refreshments will be served from 17.00 and the lecture will begin at 17.30 and last approximately 40 minutes, with an extra 20 minutes for questions.
